The legal battle between Vanderpump Rules personality Tom Sandoval and his former partner Victoria Lee Robinson reached a critical juncture on June 25, 2026, as a Los Angeles court granted a temporary restraining order following allegations of physical battery and emotional abuse. Sandoval, 42, requested the order against both Robinson, 33, and her father, J. Will Robinson, citing a violent altercation that occurred earlier this month at the home they all shared. The court has ordered both Robinson and her father to vacate Sandoval's residence, and a formal hearing has been scheduled for July 16, 2026.

The Incident of June 3

According to court documents obtained by multiple news outlets, the conflict began on the night of June 3, 2026, after the couple returned to their Los Angeles residence from a local establishment. Sandoval alleged that during a verbal disagreement, he discovered Robinson was recording him on her mobile device without his consent.

Sandoval stated in the filing that Victoria Robinson struck him in the face and temple area during the initial argument over the phone recording. The impact of the blow was so forceful that it caused Sandoval's vision to blur, leaving him bleeding from his ear and neck. He then fled to a spare bedroom and barricaded the door for safety, alleging that while he was trapped inside, Will Robinson punched a 12-inch hole through the door.

Following the physical altercation, Sandoval contacted law enforcement authorities. Victoria Robinson was arrested on June 3 on a charge of felony intimate partner battery with physical violence. She was later released the same day on a $50,000 bond. In his court declaration, Sandoval admitted that he "foolishly helped her family with the bond" in the immediate aftermath of the arrest, though the relationship has since ended.

Allegations of Sustained Abuse

The legal filing suggests that the June 3 incident was the culmination of a pattern of behavior rather than an isolated event. Sandoval’s petition for a domestic violence restraining order alleges that he has been subjected to verbal and physical abuse "several times in 2026" by both Robinson and her father. He described past instances where Victoria Robinson allegedly threw a full Gatorade bottle at him, changed passwords on his phone and social media accounts to exert control, and placed an Apple AirTag in his vehicle to track his movements.

Furthermore, Sandoval stated that Will Robinson, who had been living in Sandoval's rental home for several months, was "intoxicated on a daily basis" and had previously shoved him during arguments in mid-May. Sandoval expressed concern for his safety, telling the court that he had been "completely displaced" from his own home and had been staying in hotels or with friends to avoid further conflict.

The Father's Involvement and the Fire Pit Confrontation

While Sandoval's allegations painted a picture of unprovoked aggression, a new development surfaced on June 25 that complicated the public narrative. Video footage published by TMZ and later circulated on platforms like Reddit appeared to show a heated confrontation in which Sandoval pushed Will Robinson into a lit fire pit.

Will Robinson has disputed Sandoval’s version of the events, claiming that he was acting in defense of his daughter. In a statement to TMZ, Will Robinson alleged that Sandoval was "overpowering and twisting her arm" while trying to grab her phone. He further claimed that he was the one who contacted the police "for our safety" and noted that he required medical treatment for injuries sustained when Sandoval pushed him into the fire. Despite claims from her family, Victoria Robinson was formally processed by law enforcement on a charge of felony intimate partner battery with physical injury.

On June 26, 2026, Will Robinson attempted to turn the fire pit footage into legal leverage by filing a counter-petition for a civil harassment restraining order against Sandoval, citing a ruptured disc and broken bones. However, Los Angeles court records show the judge immediately denied the father's request for temporary protection

Legal Response and Temporary Restraining Orders

Despite the conflicting accounts, a judge granted Sandoval the temporary restraining order on June 25, 2026. The order requires Victoria Robinson and her father to maintain a specified distance from Sandoval and mandates that they leave the home where they have all been residing. Sandoval emphasized in his filing that he is currently the sole person paying for the rental home and needs to "regain access and control over my home, vehicle and belongings."

The legal proceedings have effectively terminated the couple's relationship, which began in early 2024. Sources close to Sandoval confirmed the breakup, stating that he "has endured this abuse for many months." Representatives for Victoria Robinson have not yet issued a formal public response to the allegations.

Context of the Relationship and Public Scrutiny

The relationship between Sandoval and Robinson became public in the wake of "Scandoval," the widely publicized 2023 scandal involving Sandoval's infidelity toward long-term partner Ariana Madix with their co-star Rachel "Raquel" Leviss. Since beginning their romance in early 2024, Robinson and Sandoval had been a frequent subject of tabloid interest and social media commentary.

The recent arrest and subsequent legal filings have sparked renewed debate on social media platforms such as Instagram and Reddit regarding domestic violence and the dynamics of celebrity relationships. Advocates for people experiencing domestic violence emphasize that physical aggression is unacceptable regardless of the gender of the perpetrator or the survivor. The upcoming hearing on July 16 will likely determine whether the temporary restraining order will be made permanent and how the residency dispute will be fully resolved.
